I like alfafan's
But i'd add in a Norisring super sprint (2 heats)! and either add in or replace Brands with Silverstone or Donington. Possibly wouldn't have Zolder on my calendar but i'd have a mega long Italian round at Mugello or Monza and call it the Mini Mille Miglia just to max out on the marketing appeal!! |

IMO these events are a must: Bathurst 500 km Norisring Double 2 (2x 1 hour sprint) Nordschleife 500 km Spa 24 h Mil Milhas 500 miles Suzuka 500 km I have not added Sebring and LM because the question was the "ultimate FIA GT calendar". |

Mil Milhas Brazil (1000 miles?)
Laguna Seca 500km Montreal 300km Monza 300km (it's criminal it's not there this year ) Silverstone 1000km Spa 24 hours Magny Cours 300km Barcelona 500km Hockenheim 500km A1 ring 500km Norisring 150km x2 (What a great idea THAT is ) Donington 500km Suzuka 1000km Zuhai 300km Dubai 300km Is that too many? I like the idea of starting away, then coming to Europe for the core of the season, then going back to Asia and the far east for the close. NO WAY BRANDS Jonather Palmer wants too much money, and his ideas are c-c-c-craaazy. LOONY BIN! Last edited by minimangler; 15 Sep 2006 at 11:35. |

No heritage at plm, and sebring is just too american! |

Ok some revisions on mine.
For me the ultimate FIA-GT calendar, If it's allowed to run it together with other series. Sebring 12 hours Mille Milhas Kayalami 200 mile Macau, 200 mile TT Silverstone Zandvoort 200 mile Proximus SPA, double12 hours Sat and Sunday Monza 1000 km Pau 200 mile Bathurst 24 hour Mosport 200 mile Daytona 1000 mile, evening race Laguna Seca 500 mile Suzuka 1000 kms I'm hesitating of putting Road America in, but it makes the calender just to long, Still those are the best circuits i can imagine,.. any more good circuits? |

Mille Milhas (1000K?)
Bathurst (3 hours) Bahrain (3 hours) Silverstone TT (1000K) Norrisring Supersprint (250K x2) Magny Cours (3 hours) Monza (3 hours) Spa 24 Hours Daytona (3 hours) Laguna Seca (3 hours) Shanghai (3 hours) Suzuka (1000K) It is realistic, and not realistic at the same time. This list closely mirrors the F1 calender, but it makes sense travel wise. Pair it with WTCC, grab a partner sponsor, and it would be a pretty awesome schedule. |
