Thruxton Driver of the Day

I was disappointed to find their wasn't one...I have a strange reason for running this one which I'll come back to.

Who'd you think was the driver of the day?

(Since I can include almost the whole field bar one from the options, I've cruelly decided that Gavin Smith won't be on the options list)

Muller doesn't deserve a vote for his behavior!

Didn't think anyone would not vote for Eaves unless they were being spiteful.

Guess not. What does it take to get 100% (apart from closing the poll after one vote?)

He did have 2 grid girls! I am also mystified as to how this makes him driver of the day however! How could you possibly not vote Eaves, surely the performance in race 3 was enough, let alone winning all 3 on the day!

Winning three races in a day is a big achievement - never been done before.
But you have to accept that when there are only nine cars for you to overtake to do so, and four are effectively eliminated at the first corner, it isn't the hardest thing in the world if you have a good car, which Dan undoubtedly has.

Muller's sideways save in race 1 would explain his votes.

James Kaye? Well everyone had two grid girls so that's not the answer.

I'd like to move to have Chilton's votes discounted...no doubt they're for his pole position acheivement, which was a great acheivement...but he did that on the Saturday, which is not the day I'm talking about

Well, if the grid girl thing is our new marker...where exactly were all 40 of Dan's Grid Girls?
