A1 GP Brands Hatch - will you be there...?

So, er, who's already got tickets for the series debut at Brands then?

*holds hand up and looks around hopefully for friends*

I have had my free tickets since March ( free season pass), but I can only attend on Friday and Sunday due to another hobby having its last weekend of the year

I'd go if it was on the GP circuit but not on the Indy Circuit. I'm still unconvinced with A1GP tbh and I can see a lot fo problems with backmarkers for the fast drivers.

The meeting is on the full GP circuit which has been upgraded to the FIA Grade 2 required for both A1 GP and CCWS

I'm still undecided, Brands is just a half hour drive from home so it's easy enough to get to but there's also rallycross at Wildtracks on that date so I need to work out which I'm going to. Has the support bill been finalised for A1GP yet?

For the support, there is MSV Formula Ford, FPA and GT's that are confirmed. There may be more classes confirmed later

MSV Season Ticket holder with weekend off work - A1GP, FIA Thoroughbred GPs and GTs on the Brands GP circuit or Radicals,VWs and Minis at Snetterton.

Such a difficult choice

likewise, it's like when they open a new supermarket nearby, you know they're going to have exactly the same things on the shelves, but you might miss out if you don't at least go and take a look...

Might have to reconsider now its on the GP circuit, the TAG250 GT support race could have some decent entries, nice mix of britcar and brit gt

I will be there as racing in the MSV FF1600 race. Would love to know the timetable. It is going to be 3 great days of motorsport fun. Although I will not be able to watch the FF1600 race as I will be in it, the other support races are championships that always have great races and it will be good to watch the A1 GP for the first time.

I have been told that over 50,000 people will be in attendance

Well that rather depends on how may people buy tickets, but as you are racing Redracer it could be more than normal

I'd be intrigued to be there, and not just for the FF1600 for a change - fantastic though that race will be. But I'm at Cadwell at a meeting that will be as good if not better.

Trust a woman to compare racing with shopping.

I'll be there as well (and I can still have a lay in, as Brands is almost in my back garden!). I was amazed by the ticket prices, I've got grandstand seats at start-finish and paddock tickets as well for just 50 quid. I'm looking forward to this one!

Does anyone here know whether you get allocated a specific grandstand seat, or if you just pick anywhere in the stands? I to have bought a grandstand seat. My mate wants to come along to but i would rather we sat together than have to sit opposite ends of the stands!

Yeah, call this number: 0870 950 9000. Don't book through the internet, they will put in any place on the grandstand where they can. By calling this number you can actually request a spot!
