NO, not in Tassie! Most people could not afford it due to the economy.
Next round will be at winton in the end of june at the shannons nationals. Then Easterncreek with the superbikes then oran park, shannons nationals, Gold coast a1 then Homebush. Kyle Clews leading the championship so far so whos your pick for the title. |

Well I wouldn't take what is on a website as fact, but Winton and OP on Nationals program is very likely.

Probably not. Probably not at any VESA events after the Oran Park circus....
Toyota must be happy to have put so much money into the Aurion and now it runs at regional events instead of with the main game. Just another happy customer I would imagine. |

Didnt a category administrator trip and land fist first onto a CAMS official?

The cost of running with the V8 circus was just way too much and Phil Ward moved some of the rounds away.
According to some people here at PI today the ARC will be a more regular feature on its cards as will V8 Utes. |

There will be some thin V8 programs this year, and next, if they don't re-assess their fee structure. There will be some interesting categories about to be announed for the two Queensland rounds, inlcuding a state level cat (not MX5s).

The powder room is suggesting that the "FOR SALE" or even "FIRE SALE" sign is about to get put up for the entire ARC category and operation.
Now before you bag me... have i ever been wrong in the past about ARC??? Thats correct, no i havnt! |

Now that is news... I would be interested in purchasing the category but I am not sure if Mr Ward would talk to me. I would be interested in hearing from current car owners about their interest in continuing in the category if there was a new professional category manager involved. PM me. Tony |

It doesnt look like Mr Ward is closing or selling ARC any time soon. In a piece in MeN last night, it was suggested that Honda has been pitched to provide funds for an Accord-based ARC.
The deal also seemed to include Honda providing engines to the class as well. The article mentioned that there would then be a 2 tier category, for those cars with the Honda powerplants in one class, and the ones with the old Yamahas in the other. Do 2 tier categories actually work? The concept is about to tear F1 apart... so I cant see the application being too shiny for ARC's! |

There has been a pitch made at every manufacturer but only Toyota could see the 'value' in it. It would be interesting to see if they consider they got value for money!

MX5's were invited for QR but could not guarantee the numbers this year. Look for a combined Prodsports grid, just like what normally races in the 1hr Prodsports series.... |

There seems to be no word on Honda getting involved.... maybe they didnt want their nice new hi-tech engines to be nobbled to perform with the old Yamaha engines.
Any word on the reported up coming sale Mr X? Noticed the entry at Winton has a lot of new faces..... not many old hands there... |
