Clipsal 2008 Weather Forecast from 17 Feb

Forum,

The Forecast from 17 February 2008

Tuesday Afternoon change. Cloud increasing. Min 23 Max 36
Wednesday Possible light shower. Min 17 Max 25
Thursday Possible light shower. Min 15 Max 24
Friday Possible light shower. Min 14 Max 22
Saturday Mainly fine. Min 13 Max 22
Sunday Fine. Partly cloudy. Min 14 Max 24

It may be in stark contrast to the 2007 Meeting where the Friday was 43 Degree C.

Might get wet this year, depending on what Cyclone Nicholas might do to the weather in the West.

Sounds good, a few more degrees might entice some better views around the track though!!

Been a while for me so I'll be happy however it goes though.

I think we havent had a wet race for the 500 since race 2 back in 2000,be good to have a other one,it would make things interesting for qualifing and the races.

You couldn't do it to me mate.

I went to the Grand Prix there years ago and the arc sank.

I am going this year and it had better not repeat.

Bring on the Rain i say!

Will be plenty of room in the grandstand, and plenty of action. Little bit of water never hurt anyone.

Won't be much rain. We are in drought here in SA. All rain and weather required down here is up the top of oz and down the east coast.

Wouldn't a wet qualifing be interesting?

Then goes away for the Powderfinger concert that night!

I live in hope for a wet race. Even a wet race 1 would be good, to see some new names at the top.

Anyone would think theres a motorrace on, anyone else just goes for the concerts. A few guys from my work didn't even know there was racing, they just heard about who was playing.

YOU HAVE GOT TO BE JOKING!

i love wet racing just as much as the next bloke but im currently travelling as part of my honeymoon and we are heading to clipsal as the last leg of our trip and so far it rained when we were in darwin, then we were evacuated by chopper off the whitsundays because of that damn monsoon. we were then taken to mackay (and you all know how that ended up) so we decided to quickly head to the gold coast and its rained quite a bit and now we are off to adelaide this arvo.

i sure hope its as hot as hell down there in adelaide.

we should have stayed in melbourne!

A common denominator there. Adelaide had better get the sandbags ready then.

Considering you are from Melbourne, V8RYAN, is the problem that the weather you have been experiencing has lasted the whole day, each time, instead of just part of each day like at home????

Gee, I hope you are our meteorological good-luck charm. Was supposed to be 26 today. It was 30 instead (or 29-point-something, depending who you ask). Please bring us some damn rain!
