my new job
Just thought that i'd mention to you people that part of my college course (Motor vehicle Technoligy) i was asked to attain a work placement in the area i want a future career in.
Obviously i want a career in motorsport and set about trying to find a team close to me that i could do it with, asked a brief search i found a Mr Ian Dawson who was willing to allow me to come in once a week (Tuesdays) and work for him. So i now work once a week for Taurus Sport, on their Le Mans cars. So far i have helped to build part of a mock up for a new rear diffuser they're building. Re: my new job
Congrats! Please ask Mr Dawson for me, would the Taurus Lola receive a new livery for next reason? The team should also consider updating their page more often for their fans. All the best.

congrats on the job, now maybe you can keep us posted on (IMO) the most interesting project in sportscar racing, the diesel engine.

This is what i know about the team so far,
They're planning to run 2 Diesel powered cars at Le Mans next year but according to the rule makers it smokes too much, so they're trying to find a fuel company to work with so they can make it exhaust cleaner gases. They dont know what else they're doing next year as that depends on sponsorship, they don't even have a teating plan yet. My course is Motor Vehicle Technoligy, which i hope will allow me to take Motorsport Engineering at University in 2006. |

Well, all thats goin' on at the moment is they are building a new rear diffuser for the new regs. And we're mocking it u[p out of wook to use as a mould.
One this to note is that the exact curve of the top level of the rear diffuser was created by wooden struts THAT I MADE! |
