Was the Lola B2K/10 heavily modified to take the tourage engine? The video suggest they are of similar size..

i would love more info on this team if anyone knows of any, i did some work for them in Taurus guise and their car came in to my other work at Competition Fabrications in attleborough.
something to do with building air vanes to get the airflow into the top of the radiator. |

I've got some shots of this car out testing, I saw it at Snetterton at least twice... Only seem to have the first time on my website at the moment, but I'll dig out the CD with the photos on of the other times. I've got it from most angles...

Looking at Mike's photos I was struck by what a shame this car never made it to the LMS. I know it was crunched in testing and that there was a hope it would make Jarama or the last ALMS rounds.
Clearly neither of these happens. Is this now a car/project that we now have to draw a line under and add to the list of sportscars that never raced or is there scope for them next year (presumably with a new chassis)? |
