My invitation also arrived on Saturday, but others I spoke to had received nothing; they all do different duties to me, and I am told that they may be sent out in groups.

I was one of the trainers at Saturdays training day. Normally an Observer but can't face the thought of being stuck in a tree house for three days at Silverstone so I apply as IO for the GP.

Not too bad, a few more freckles rather than a tan. I'm really pleased that I have been accepted to marshal at my first GP. I guess they will take anyone as they are so short on numbers. Better find a tent to borrow!!
