Where to stay at Snett this weekend?
Any good suggestions anyone, have I left it too late and will it be the Hotel De La Blazer (my MPV tow vehicle), where do the Classic Touring boys stay?

The Bell Hotel in Thetford. Tis a nice hotel...although don't ask me about the price as I've never been the one to pay!

Al' can't remember the name of it but if you come out of the main entance and turn right towards Norwich theres a big hotel I stayed at last year with the missus next to a roundabout about 2 miles away just off the main road. Prices were not to bad (think it was something like £40.00/45.00) and the resturant was pretty good. They should have rooms at this time of year as no fool would want to holiday in Norfolk...would they??

Al would fit in there - Chevy Blazer, towing a Camaro. I wonder if they'd let him back out of the gate?

Cromer is still a fare few miles away-I'd sleep in the car Al like I will be again in 2 weeks time at Snet for the Ford Saloons after my drive back from Oulton on the Sat! Think of the hotel money saved as going towards your next race entry!!

There's loads of room at Snetterton to pitch a tent Although if the weather is anything like it has been the last few days up there it won't last long...

The BBC said it was brightening up for the weekend so fingers crossed I will break my wet racing jinx :-)
Actually sleeping in the Blazer SUV is a real option as it has a 6ft plus bed area in the back with the seats lowered so would be quite comfortable but I have not seen my sister in Cromer for a while and my daughter and family is coming down so we will have a little family visit as well as long as they all get their fingers out Sunday morning! Got a lot of time to kill. |

Well yes, that is a fairly extreme option!
