Will Murphy race at the Creek

We have all seen Murphy and his team struggle to get a good set up for car 51 at Eastern Creek and how much Murphy sulks and whinges about the car not being on the pace. Well my question is if Murphy is mathematically out of the championship by the time Eastern Creek roles around and his car is not on the pace again at the Creek will he do a repeat of last year and not race or will he tough it out like most ot the other competitors do when there fans pay money to get through the gate and watch them race

Would be no loss as he is a LOSER full time as well as tackin the whinger of the year award off MS . Plus he is a
tryhard.

Although many people don't believe it, he didnt drive on sunday because of 'a back problem.' Who knows, he hasn't dogged it before that.

Providing he's fit, I think he'll race.
Last year he had nothing to gain and a lot to lose.

last year it benefited him to miss the race because of the lame drop your worst round points system. he actually was better off sitting it out.

I thought it was common knowledge that he was going to stand aside and let the mighty TSR show his skills.

Oh scrub that, I remember now that Murph has a far better racing history.

Of course he'll race. Physical health stopped him last year, and the franchise rules dictate that he will

A loser doesn't become multiple Bathurst winner, maybe TSR can put his driving record up so we can compare his career with Murph's. I have no doubt that Murphy will drive at EC.

Sorry to break it to you TSR but quite clearly Kim Jones has taken out whinger of the year award two years in a row now.

I would hope not, but in a year where Seriously have avoided ALL of the controversial issues like hot potatoes, they seem to have taken some pride in painting Mr Ambrose as a bad guy... and poor young Mr Kelly as the innocent bystander.

It makes you wonder a couple of things.

The Tim Smith story about the team at Bathurst had more than a couple of grabs with the 2 drivers, quite possibly attempting to show the world what they were really like, in the wake of the Crashbandicoot debacle.

I would hate to think that perhaps Holden Motorsport, and its cast of thousands in the PR/Media universe are taking the opportunity to build some tension in the ranks of the opposition manufacturer, with the help and support of the series broadcaster.

Stranger things have happened of course

Being commenting on 10/10 for over a couple of years, I have to agree with you WHOLE heartedly with your comment GTR.
As I see the whole indy debarcal it seems to be KMART vs MA.

As your last sentence say's -- Stranger things have happened.

For us the fans lets have it is an even playing feild till the end.

Actually, I was waiting for RPM to finish just to make sure it WAS brought to us by HOLDEN & K Mart.

Can't wait for the next V8 Superstars show for another hour of MA bashing & at the same time see how innocent & cuddly Murphy & Wreck Kelly are. Should be HUGE..

The story lost all credibility IMO the minute they started talking about Murf's chance to take the title, what a load of cobblers. Sure, Marcus doesn't seem to handle the pressure too well at times but as long as he can finish in the top 10 for the next 2 rounds, it's in the bag.

I too am amazed at those ignorant comments... having at one stage spent two hours every day lying on the floor before I could even sit down, or standing against an open car door for fifteen minutes before I could walk, I would >never< belittle someone talking of back trouble.

My problems were fixed after four trips to hospital, two ops, medical bills exceeding $60k and more than six months off work, over 20 years, AND I still have to carry my x-rays through airport scanners to prove the titanium screws and brackets in my back aren't some lethal weapon....

This thread kinda demostrate the ignorance of many people posting here. Of course Murph is going to race. Like someone said before, back problems are serious and he benefitted from not racing.

About Ch10 taking Kmarts side. That interview was put together at Bathurst as a story. Unless Ch10 can predict the future, it had nothing to do with the Indy incident (but you can keep thinking they traveled back in time to put the story together).

I'm not a gambling man, but I would be willing to put money on the fact that Ch10 would have tried to get Ambrose to show up. I would also guess, since it has been proven that Ambrose may have not been as honest as he should have been, he declined.
