Goodbye Tratty (No he hasnt gone yet)
1 no talent driver down lots to go aventually Paul little may have realised he has wasted lots and lots of money on Tratty he has never been and never will be a fast race driver. The car he has driven over the past 2 seasons has been the best car he could ask for and still he cant do anything. Before you all say it isnt the same as Richo's car stop and think about it why would you build 2 specs especially when it is Larry Perkins it wouldnt be cost effective to do so. There has been several reports of Richo driving Tratts car at tests and sometimes going over a second faster than Tratt and even sometimes faster than his own car. Hopefully Toll stays in the sport to get something back out of it instead of what ti misses now. Imagine the exposure it would get as a new sponsor for Perkins with Richo and Paul Dumbrell driving and Larry rowing the PR boat.

Tratt as a successful V8 Supersar driver? No, we all know this.
However, before you completely bag the bejeezuss out of him countryone, don't forget that while he almost always qualifies in the bottom half of the field, consider this - If a full field is covered by around 1.5 sec (which happens often), is he really so hopeless? And it's not as if he always qualifies last by a large margin, the category has huge depth - after all, he's shared grid rows with many top drivers! Could you[I], stay within around 1.5sec per lap up against your Skaife,Lowndes, Ingall, Ambrose, Tander, etc....????? Tratt is around 1sec slower than Richards in the same car? Why don't you have a look at some of the comparison times of team mates at the enduros - Tratty's not doing too badly. Like I said earlier, Tratt hasn't exactly set the world on fire, but Toll have always had pretty good exposure (even if it's for some of the wrong reasons!!), but don't hammer the guy- he's not a benchmark setter, but he's not entirely slow either.... |

come on mate he gets co-drivers that wont out shine him eg evangelou / mezera / jones / stokel and as for his times he has been in the category for as long as almost anyone (approx 8 years) give anyone that amount of time and surely you would expect more. I am not trying to have a go at the guy he is just hopeless. Symmons D.Brabham / O.Kelly????????????????? better by a mile after first sprint round

mates ... do know the meaning ???
Tratty & Little are mates .... some of you lot have no idea - if a guy (Paul Little) wants to support his mate to go racing, where do you blokes get off, he's a mate, its Littles money, hello ...
Now if Little wants to spend Tolls money stumping up the General (who currently bankroll HSVDT), he must do things differently, like get value for his shareholders. Big difference, comprehendez &/or got any mates ??? Got any Toll shares ? |

Is there any chance that maybe the HSVDT sponsorship would be part of a deal for Holden to get cheaper distribution of their vehicles around Australia to their dealerships ??

return on funds employed
What are you saying ? Its a contra, not a sponsorship ? Sponsorship of V8SC is not worth ?? $much ... Holden are still paying the bills ??
Personally, I battle to see the return for Toll shareholders of any sponsorship. |

The deal with Mobil and HRT is largely contra, Toll is a major supplier of transport to the motor industry so it would not be impossible for a bill totalling a couple of million dollars per annum being chalked up for transport of car parts and completed vehicles.... So Holden writes the cheques to keep the team ticking along, while they make a saving in input costs. A nice contra.... Captain Peter Janson would be very proud |
