Saving F1 Petition
Apparently someone has started this...
"#SAVINGF1 is a grassroots campaign calling on fans to express their support for a fairer, more accessible, more affordable and more sustainable Formula One that puts the fans and the sport we love first." http://www.saveourformula.com/ |

Collecting personal data with no privacy or data handling policy? Protected domain registration, no contact details or about us section?
I expect the intent is good, but the practice is poor with respect to data protection. Not a good start, especially when there are already established petition sites with well defined policies for that "boring" stuff. |

Yay, lets make F1 "Better".
The lack of any specifics whatsoever, really make this petition completely pointless. |

An online petition, that'll do it.
Also I am wary on anything that asks the fans. That is why we got DRS and double points. |

Do you like it when the championship goes to the final round?
Yes. Oh that's easy... There is not chance for Yes, but don't do it in a false way. In fact don't even try to arrange it in any simple way. Want more overtaking? ... And democracy doesn't work, despite being the best option we have. |

I can just imagine the purse stringpullers giving up all that lovely cash because they've been overcome with bouts of guilt upon being presented with an online petition. |

Yea, the FIA's way of "fixing" overtaking was to give F1 fans DRS, instead of actually fixing what causes the cars difficulty in passing, which is the dominance of aero and the lack of mechanical grip.
