P'tink should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
As a complete newbie to this forum, I have a question: Can anyone tell me about the regs for Group A racing (635s, Skyline's, Cossies, etc) or even point me in the right direction? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Fankoo very much!!

In order to be eligible for Group A. The car had to be a production touring car with normal seating for at least 4 adults. 5000 of the basic car had to be built to make the model eligible. Then the manufacturers had the option to build a further 500 homologation specials to get in all the good bits, big turbo, intercoolers, aerodynamics etc.

The classes were all determined by engine size and there was a maximum rim width and minimum weight for each capacity class.

The cars had to run standard homolgated bodywork and original engine configuration. The cars were allowed to use trick suspension and huge brakes and the passenger seats were removed.
