Osella should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
LM GT regs

I notice that the 2004 regs allow different (ie bigger) restrictors the heavier the car.... this is new, isn't it?

I seem to recall that there used to be two
minimum weights, 100kg difference, with the lighter option requiring smaller wheels and fuel tank.

What's the best option for an LM GT, weighing up power against weight?

For example, a 3800cc car can have 40.6mm restrictors at 1100kg, rising to 44.2 at 1300kg

I think it's the contrary... if I can remember, the lighter cars succeed better at LM than heavier and more powerful cars...

Beeing not a specialist, I'll let, say, Mike for exemple, or Tim, develop the argument, and maybe infirm my words...

this is probably a saving move to make GT more appealing- as GTS is stealing alot of thunder from the other classes lately, as GT speed differentials to the other classes isn't that important,
but this change is just inter-class isn't it
