Max, he badly needed to make up for Monaco and delivered.

Romain Grosjean.
But I voted for Charles Leclerc. Apparently it's the only way to "fuel a discussion" on this forum?? |

A good in lap from Ricciardo got him a place. Some nice, but not exceptional driving from many.
However I don’t think a Suber would easily get int he top ten so I think It is I. |

Romain Grosjean - so that he gets the vote he deserved from F1Guy.

I can't fault any aspect of Vettel's race, but I was seriously considering a vote for Leclerc. He looks like he belongs in a racing car at this level and I look forward to seeing him battling with Ocon and Verstappen for a long time yet.

Vettel. Got everything right all the way through.
Fat John did pretty well though, so kudos to him too. |

LeClerc gets the nod - is the Sauber actually a half sensible car (so Ericsson is just awful) or is the car not that great and LeClerc is just very very good (and Ericsson just bad rather than awful)? Make sense?
Honourable mentions for Grosjean and Vettee. |

Voted for Leclerc, because he showed once again that Ericsson doesn't deserve to be on the grid without his daddy's rich billionaire friends.
Same for Stroll and Vandoorne. |

But then Stroll and Ericsson don't have a double champion for a team mate

No, but it doesn't prevent them from showing their worth - not in the slightest. We're not comparing them with Fernando. Leaving him aside completely, they really don't appear to be up to the job.

I'm not comparing him to Ericsson and Stroll, I'm just saying he doesn't deserve to be in F1 because he isn't performing at all. In every race so far I've only seen him go backwards and backwards, only gaining places by attrition ahead of him than actually racing.

Vandoorne doesn’t deserve to be in F1? Leave it out, he’s a GP2 champion and did very well in Super Formula. He certainly hasn’t looked completely hopeless in F1

Better yet, he's a complete failure. Maybe he's better suited to Formula E like the other failure, Jérôme D'Ambrosio. |

He actually had some good drives towards the end of last season and has picked up some good finishes this season, so to say he doesn't deserve to be in F1 is ridiculous
