and even better, Nikon will be releasing new firmwares in the fall with the majority of software goodies on the D2Xs applying to the D2X (as well as other stuff for D2H's and D200)
for me, the most appealing point, although there are several, is that Nikon has finally gotten the sense to fix it so that one can clean one's sensor without having to use the AC adapter (really though, I believe the greedy buggers finally figured out that this was yet a another selling point for Canon and so have finally given up this feature which could have been implemented a long time ago-but I digress...)
