good ole murray

on defence of silverstone

''I don't think [the track facilities] are inadequate,'' said Murray. ''I've just been to the loo and it's new, it's modern.''

I thought that when I saw him talking to Ted from ITV.

'bout time we got some better "colour" commentators.

We take it that you mean colourfull, not a different ethnic group?

Every time that ITV go to the live race feed and JR says 'and we welcome our commentators Martin Brundle and ...' I still expect him to say 'Murray Walker'.

And, I'm still dissappointed when he doesn't.

I once used the urinal adjacent to the one Murray Walker was using at Brand's Hatch.

Er, just thought I'd mention it.

I once barrel rolled a kart down the main straight at an event comentated on by Murray, when I eventually dug myself from the wreckage I over heard....

"is he alright?....I don't think think he is"

Which coincided with me finding out my legs wern't working.

DKGandBH has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Was he as excited as he got when a Pom was leading a race...?

I was in a marshals training session a few years ago, when some latecomer wandered in and sat next to me, I didn't look to see who it was.

Imagine my surprise when that famous voice asked a question from the seat next to me.

Shame on you Snrub. Only Murray could make the current snoozefest that is F1, entertaining
