Lowndes has just put himself out of Championship contention for 2007. Ford paid $1 million dollars back in 2000 to have Lowndes cross to the darkside, now seven seasons later and he still hasn't won a championship for Ford. Ford's million dollar man is now the million dollar boob, Lowndes has been out-performed all season by his team-mate Whincup.
