New sponsor for Greg Ray

Access Motorsports has added Renovac Systems Inc. as an associate sponsor of the No. 13 car driven by Greg Ray for the 2004 Indy Racing League®IndyCar® Series season.

Ray, the 1999 IndyCar® Series points champion, will pilot a Panoz G Force/Honda/Firestone package in the 2004 season.

Renovac Systems is a Dallas-based producer of professional-grade automotive protection products for wheels, vinyl and paint applications. Renovac Systems products will be used to protect the wheels, vinyl and painted surfaces of Greg Ray’s car.

“We are very excited and hope this is the beginning of a long and prosperous relationship,” said Ray, Access Motorsports owner-driver who founded the team in partnership with Ted Bitting and Jamie Nanny in 2003. “Perhaps this will be a big step to help us fulfill our championship dreams in the very near future.”

Ray and Access Motorsports finished ninth in its debut at the Indy Japan 300 at Twin Ring Motegi last April. Ray and the team went on to record four eighth-place finishes in the remaining 11 races, including one at the 87th Indianapolis 500. - From Indyracing.com


Good news for Ray & Access, plus another definite car on the grid for next year

I hope Greg Ray can get things together this year , i know they are a small team with a smaller budget compared to the likes of Ganassi and co. but the team soldiered on pretty well last year and I like ray's aggression even if it lands him in the wall a fair bit.
