And why not?
The 2 forms of motorsport are not mutually exclusive, and given the correct setting may be symbiotic. Some may even look at is as having cars at a bike race. Anyway I'll be there if the parts shop does'nt need me. |

What an excellent weekends racing. Even got lunch breaks each day to eat the donuts provided by the lovely CTCRC people. This meeting is what racing is all about, more of the same please.

A very enjoyable weekend made possible by BARC but more importantly the drivers and teams behind them that made some very interesting and enjoyable racing. The company on post was good and it was nice to have a more marshals on there on Sunday. Thanks to everyone involved.

Oh nearly forgot, it was great to meet Stephen and crew and Tim I ran over to watch your race after being held up in Park Ferme and the interview and I just caught you on the slowing down lap, sorry mate. And if anyone was wondering why my 5.7 litre Camaro was a Class B car it was because I am running List 1b Kumho tyres not slicks which allows a class drop in fact the Capri was as well and should really have been running in class C!
Just noticed on MST I was 2 seconds down on my practise time and I can only put that down to having to strap on a Supertrapp because I was over the noise limit, time to get the welder out again and alter the exhaust system, can't be having that now!. |

Thanks to all the boys and girls in orange for being there today, it was a most enjoyable day and it was dry as well.
Al, no problems, sorry I didn't manage to speak to you today but ever time I wandered over you had disappeared. Just going to MST to see how you did. Tim |

Actually Tim that Supertrapp hurt more than I thought, I was nearly 3 seconds adrift! Must get that sorted pronto. Yes it was dry so I have broke my wet weather jinx which is amazing with how the weather has been of late yippee!! Nice to see Rod Birley at the track as well, spectating this time (I think).

A big thanks to all the boys n gals in orange on Saturday, the constant drizzle must have eeked into the bones by the time the day was done.
I hope us BMW's didn't over-utilise you, every lap I went round there seemed to be another car parked up near a marshalls post, I was starting to think they were popping in to grab a doughnut Dave |

I would just like to add the thanks of the Startline/Pits marshals to the CTCRC for the most welcome doughnuts... And congratulations to Al for regaining his nth place in the last 10 yards sprint to the line.
The number of both drivers and riders who acknowledged the marshals in the pitlane at the end of the races was also much appreciated on both days. |
