You know, maybe nascar is not that bad after all. I am sickened by the BAR Honda this whole weekend. They (JB) cant even pass the two Toyotas. Then they retire. JV was the only hope they had at points. Look what happened to him. I would not sign on with this team again. Its obvious to me they want him out. Dont get it... need a drink...

Its sad because I am not necessarily a JV fan but no one deserves this, not even RS, who I must say has driven well today. Its hard work being a Honda fan, hard damn work.

There have been SO MANY times when the BAR team has let him down and this is merely another one of those. They should renew his contract for £30 million to compensate him for the grief.
I give Jacques credit for staying with BAR for as long as he has. It's a testament to his character that he doesn't just walk away when things like this happen. Last edited by mbspeed; 15 Jun 2003 at 18:35. |

Another home race..another DNF. Jacques needs to get out of BAR Honda as fast as possible..
Working for any other team would be acceptable..just as long as he`s as far as possible from that snake David Richards. |

"That snake" David Richards is_not_responsible for Jacque$' declining career. He made the decision to go for the $$ and sign with BAR, and he has paid the price ever since.

Absolutely. If he was more interested in success than cash he would have moved before now.

Sad indeed. |

TG, it was for reasons like this that I said that JV would be better off somewhere else. There is coincidence, and then there is bad luck, this has surpassed both.

I support TeddyG's idea. Maybe I'd be even more angry, so I'd better keep my mouth shout.

Someone in that BAR team just isn't doing their job properly, with this kind of reliabilty someone should really be sacked by now. One of the commentators here in NZ said that there is no such thing as luck...someone hasn't done their job properly if it's screwing down a bolt, or tuning the engine, whatever, it all has to be done perfectly and BAR just keeps messing something up every single time and it's just pathetic.
I just hate getting my hopes up, you know you wait two weeks, and you think the luck has to change eventually. But NOOOOOOOOOOOO. This really is painful. Even so before they retired the BAR's did not look that very impressive pace wise. I mean JV looked good at the beginning and he said he had a good set-up but Button didn't look like he was doing anything back there. I thought the BAR was supposed to be really quick on these fast circuits? And where was this "great" new Honda engine??? Whatever... lied to again by the BAR/Honda lackeys...I really don't know why I'm surprised anymore |
