Pensioner should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Fred Bromley

BARC Midlands Chief Marshal Fred Bromley will be missing from the Plum Pudding meeting. He is currently in Glenfield (Leicester) Hospital having had a quadrupal by-pass earlier this week. Speaking to him yesterday pm he told me everything appears OK, and he was up dressed and waiting for food (no change there then), and if he continues as he is, then he could be home for Christmas.

Get well soon Fred. Perhaps, if he is home for Christmas and the weather is OK, he could have a run out to Mallory on Boxing Day.

Otherwise see you next year.

PS MiniKayBee sends her best wishes as well.

Having been in the same situation myself 15 months ago, ( all Chief Marshals beware !! ) I can appreciate exactly what Fred's going through. All I can say is do as your told, follow trhe medics advice and beleive me it DOES all come togther.

Best wishes Fred

(for all Marks non medical friends - CABG = Coronary Artery Bypass Graft - See I learnt something )

Wishing you a speedy recovery Fred. Hope you're up and out of hospital soon, but you're in a good place, one of the best heart hospitals in the country.

FRED BROMLEY

I am delighted to tell you all that we were talking to Fred at lunchtime and he was waiting for Cass to collect him and take him home. (funny really - the last we spoke, food came into the conversation)
No doubt he will be able to exchange e-mails now.
