CCP press release – Germany
Whilst CCP racing was delighted with the finishing order (1-2) of the Sunday morning warm-up, the team took the results of third and fifth with a little less enthusiasm. We are especially disappointed with Oriol’s last lap loss of fourth place when the ever-whining Bruno passed him, ruining an otherwise fine effort. CCP is also at a loss to explain why we find ourselves last in the championship when one of our drivers has had so many top five finishes. Team CCP is anxious to get home and study the tapes to see where we might improve. Look for CCP drivers to begin clawing their way back up in the standings with both Michel and Oriol due for at least one win this season. In the mean time, CCP’s third driver, Mr. Papis, is still dancing the night away in Miami. Maybe if we painted the cars red………………………..? End transmission. |

I seem to have vanished from the overall standings, but I think I have 132 points right now...

You are correct, sir! 132 points it is. That's what I get for trying to do two things at once.

Radioactive Racing Press Release
Though Radioactive Racing is 147 points behind the leader, and we're even 27 points behind our closest competitor, we're heartened to see we're still tied for last place none the less. On to Milwaukee. Maybe we'll get lucky and do really well. Maybe. |

Team Champcar Hollandia Race Report
Team Champcar Hollandia driver Sebastien Bourdais scored in Germany his 2nd racewin in a row, moving now to 4th in the overal standings. Bruno Junqueira finished just outside the podium, but now shares 1st position in the overall standings with Paul Tracy. After a bad qualifing, 3rd driver Ryan Hunter-Reay managed to finish in 11th position. It's the first time all the drivers score points in 1 race! Teamowner Daisy. "Another great result for our team. To see all drivers score points and winning the race makes me extremely happy! Sebastien is in the form of his life, and I hope he keeps in until the end of the season! Winning your first oval race ever, I don't think many drivers have done that before. Bruno was also very good today, unfortunately he missed out a podiumplace, but he is now at the top of the standings, together with Tracy. Finally, Ryan drove a steady race to score 2 points, after another very difficult weekend for him. We still haven't found out what are his problems with the car, hopefully we've solved that for the next race. But tonight we gonna have our 2nd big party within a week!" |
