Yoong Montoya should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Most dominant season

It can be in any bike racing. And it can be more than one driver. For me, it's Troy Bayliss and Colin Edwards in the 2002 World Superbike Championship. In most races that year, they had the place to themselves. Classic proof that domination does not equal boredom.

Certainly the 2002 Superbike season by two riders - Edwards and Bayliss - is a contender.

How about last years MotoGP season as well? In fact, 2002 saw dominance by one person/team in many sports. 2002 = The Year of Sports Boredom!

Doohans dominance of the seasons 1994-1998, although at times he found himself challenged...

f1manoz, don't confuse challenge with being bored and letting the others catch up

Hehe. Too true elephino.

But I remember he had a couple of great battles with the Aoki brothers during one season... then there were the battles with Criville...

Doohan's 1997 season was particularly dominant with 12 wins in 15 races.
