Brands Punishments
Michael Bentwood - his best weekend ever, but also - had pole in race two taken away and 3 points for an unseen move on Turkington in race one.
(Didn't see it on the MotorsTV replay anyway - who was up at Clearways, who saw it?) Hodgetts reprimanded for the Watty-Smith squeeze on the main straight (twas naughty I guess). Plato reprimanded for cheeky re-starts in race two, and £500 fine and a 3 point endorsement in race three. (Not clear if it's for more bad restarts, or the mushing of Muller at Druids - probably the former I'd guess). Source: BTCC Pages Amazing, Reid got through a weekend untouched! See what a suspended race ban can do. Has the expired yet? I want to see him racing again. |

the bentwood move was to nudge turkington out of the way on the last corner of the last lap, which he did to get tenth and pole or so he thought.
