"Oh don't worry, there's plenty of room..."
THUD, CRASH, BANG! "Ah, why did I sell that BMW with those lovely parking sensors?!" Seriously, my mum has NEVER bashed someone's car when parking, so Ralf, a little advice, DRIVING LESSONS! |

I do feel sorry for him, afterall, it may just be he hasn't readjusted yet to not having parking sensors. Slow news week indeed though, just look at the puny amount of threads in here! Last edited by pirenzo; 18 Dec 2004 at 20:06. |

If I was a mega-rich F1 driver, who had won races, I'd quite happily accept that the flip side was a) some people like to criticise me and b) I can't park.

Have you noticed when an F1 car is reversed into the garage one of the mechanics always steers it in,obviously reversing is a major flaw as regards F1 drivers.

Well I have been waiting for it, and today Mr V provides it!
This is Definitive Proof that driver aids have ruined the modern F1 Driver! Traction control, engine mapping, automatic gearchanges and now the ultimate scourge: The Little Thing That Beeps to Let You Know You are Too Close. It all should be banned! Bring skill back to the sport! Reduce the outrageous cost of Racing! Quotes from Around the World regarding Schumi Lite's inability to park: "In my day a good driver could make a car that had poor parking characteristics park respectably." - Stirling Moss "I can still park a modern car as well as any car that existed in my days as an active driver." - Niki Lauda "Errmm. Aaah. Yes." - Mika Hakkinen "If I can fit in it, I can park it." - JPM and Nige, in unison. (Posthumous quote) "If I were in a a car with Cora you can believe I would have found something else to do." - James Hunt |

Allthough the regulations stipulate that a reverse gear is a mandatory fitment on F1 cars,i'm sure Toyota are now looking for a loophole as i type.

He named his kid David. He is notoriously unstable. He wanted to invest in the sex industry. What else would you expect from him?

Character assassination! On this forum? I haven't noticed a terribly unstable character - would BMW pay him millions if he was 'unstable'? I doubt it. And what, pray, is wrong with the name David? Quite a sensible name if you ask me. Everyone knows a Dave. All the Daves I know are OK blokes Don't think his, er, little investment was anything more than just that, imo. Btw - I ain't no Ralfie fan but I thought this was a bit unfair. Go Kimi! |

Professional drivers are sometimes surprisingly bad drivers on the "civilian side". They are obviously more skilled, but refuse to use those skills to promote safety. When the volume of traffic grows it becames increasingly
dangerous. I think ralf knows how to park a car, he simply chose not to pay attention. |
