How will you be watching BTCC?

Discussion thread on the coverage is here: http://tentenths.com/forum/show...ewpost&t=94100

This thread is for a poll...how will you watch the BTCC this season?

Please note this is a multiple vote poll,

so if you're going to all the races, but will still tape the ITV coverage etc. tick both boxes

Alfa Fan has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Going to some races and plan to get Setanta to watch the others.

I'll probably do Thruxtons and Brands-s, catching the rest on ITV1/4. May consider Setanta if it's possible to get a cheaper package just for BTCC/NASCAR or something.

Planning to be at the Knockhill round in a racing capacity but for all the other rounds it'll be Setanta all the way... full coverage can't be beat!

I plan on doing a mixture - watching some on ITV, watching some highlights on Men & Mos and going to some of the races. Bit of a mix but will do for me!

I'll try and get to a couple of rounds (probably both visits to Brands and maybe Snetterton or Thruxton), otherwise I'll watch it on ITV if I'm not busy and catch up online if I am.

Probably not going to be watching much at all. Last year I sneaked in the odd round or two on TV but it seems as though ITV1 aren't going to be showing much of it. I'm certainly not paying Setanta for the privilege.

IMO Owt's better than nowt so I'll get whatever I can. I'm still gutted that Motors ditched the whole day programme from the last few years. However Alan Gow has said on another Forum:

Quote:
I also believe that the particular Setanta channel which will carry our coverage may also shortly become available on Freeview.

However this has not been confirmed yet, to my knowledge, and you really need to contact Setanta and ask them.
and then backed it up with:

Quote:
This was announced a little while ago:
_________________________________________
On 6 February, Setanta announced it was bringing forward the launch of its new revamped Setanta Sports to 1st March instead of August of 2007 (Excluding the BT Vision Service).

The New Setanta Sports Station will be available on all major UK Television Platforms;

Digital Terrestrial.
Freeview (Available to any customer, with a Box with a CAM or Card Slot)
Top Up TV Anytime
BT Vision (As of August of 2007)
Digital Satellite.
BSkyB
Digital Cable.
Virgin Media

So to me that looks like we're in for the same service that we had from Motors just on a different channel.
All good to me.

Available as in available without having to pay them £20 a month or however much?

If that's true then I'm there.

EDIT: Scratch that - they still want paying

I haven't decided yet - definitely going to 3 or maybe 4 rounds this year so whether is worth (I presume a compulsory) 12 month contract with Setanta I don't know yet.
