steering wheels - shape
For spacing under the wheel I am looking to get a flattened off wheel. I am wondering however about the wheels that look more like handles. What does the blue book mean when it says no reflex angles? Does this prevent the handle style wheels?
I know it has to be continuous around the rim but am not clear what else is required. |

ignoring the blue book for a min, i have driven a few cars with odd shape wheels, and i can honestly say they are horrible! unless you have such a quick rack as per f1 etc where you never have to move you hands from a single position on the wheel you find your trying to grab the wheel but its not where you expect it to be, if you see what i mean

According to the blue book you can use a flattend off wheel (the one I used to use was flattened off at the top and the bottom) but the outer rim has to be continuous, ie no gaps.
