cg7aa should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
What are they up to now: Kris Meeke and Guy Wilks?

Does anyone know what Kris Meeke and Guy Wilks are doing these days? Guys official website show old news and for Meeke nothing much at all other than a twitter feed.

I hope they haven't hit career brickwalls.

Kris is working in a rally school as an instructor . . . I met him a while back and he says he is getting plenty of offers but nothing that would forward his career unfortunatly . . . He was saying he can't raise the funding to get a seat with the bigger teams or even to do a season in Ireland or England

I read a few days ago that Meeke may be driving a DS3 WRC as a stand in for Khalid Al Qassimi.

Yeh Matton is considering Meeke for Finland in Khalid's DS3 as he has other arrangements at that time.

That's good to hear, I hope he gets the drive and maybe some testing beforehand too so he's well prepared. Which rally school is he working at then?

What about Guy?

If only I was a filthy rich philanthropist...

To be fair Wilkes has had a lot of chances for years, and has provne himself to be a bit of a crasher!!

As for Meeke, I think he is unlucky when it comes to Mini, for whatever reason Sordo was considrered a safter beta nd Meeke was dumped, a real shame as he hasnt really had much of a chance

The story of all Irish Motorsport hopefuls, they have the talent required but not the financial backing.

Meeke is a fantastic driver with huge potential, but sadly it doesn`t lok like it will be fulfilled.
