FRC 2011 - Round 14: Estoril
Time for the final LMS round of 2011. The entry list has declined a bit over the past few weeks, so check the list before making your picks. I have the official list from the LMS site listed below, but it seems to be dated. A more current list can be found here at SPEEDTV.com. Qualifying starts at 10:50 local track time on Saturday Sept 24, so get your entries in by then. The race begins at 13:00 on Sunday the 25th.
Schedule Entry List Timing & Scoring World Times To make things a bit simpler for me please format your entries something like this: LMP1 Pole: Race: LMP2 Pole: Race: FLM Pole: Race: GT-PRO Pole: Race: GTE-AM Pole: Race: Good luck to all! |

Nope, my competition is really closing down on me after my massive mid season lead, I could go down to second after this one. My yawn was more about my decreasing interest in LMS/ALMS races outside of the ILMC rounds. Next year with Pescarolo and Strakka leaving for the WEC, I really have no reason to watch/follow LMS anymore. Basically what the RLM/Midweek Motorsport people would do (yawn) if this was an SRO, FIA or NASCAR owned series.

Round 14 Results
Congrats to FCP and me (I've waited all season to say that!) for being the co-round winners. This endedup being a pretty high scoring round with an average of 10.5 points per person. Unfortunately a lot of people forgot about this round so we only had 11 participants. Oddly, nobody picked the GTE Pro winner. As always if you see an error let me know. Next round is a big one, and it will be here fast.

I suck and you are welcome Badger and Chiana.
A little busy this week...don't know why... Hope to remember my picks before I head for the hills....won't be able to make late picks this time, unless I can somehow convince the wife to.......noooo better not. |
