Eddie Irvine - wants DC to win!
from f1-live.....
McLaren driver David Coulthard will secure his third victory around the streets of Monaco tomorrow, according to former sparring partner, Eddie Irvine, who is ‘looking forward to having a few beers’ with the Scot ‘when he makes it a hat-trick of wins.’ On Sunday. Irvine, who is actually attending a race for the first time since being dropped from the Jaguar team at the end of last season, spoke about Coulthard’s handing Michael Schumacher ‘another bloody nose’, claiming the Scot is on a mission to ‘prove he is Formula One's ultimate street-fighting man.’ According to Irvine, David needs to secure his second victory of the season this weekend because if Michael, who is aiming for his record sixth win around the Monte Carlo street circuit, takes the win, this year’s racing will begin to resemble last year’s one horse race that saw the Ferrari driver claim the championship after only 11 races. Irvine says something nice about DC.... Well for the first time in my life I actually agree with Eddie Irvine. Go DC! |

don't tell me people are still paying attention to him - you're only making him worse by listening!

Eddie is a bit of an enigma when it comes to trying to find a consistent trend in anything he espouses. It is all a good giggle, but not much more...

It does the job though doesn't it, gets people talking about him, even if they don't want too!
