Cooper Cars at Prescott
I have just had a leaflet drop onto the doormat, it is heralding an event at Prescott later this year.
On Sunday 23rd July the Bugatti Owners Club will be running a hillclimb to celebrate The 60th Anniversary of the Cooper Racing Car Marque. The first Cooper racing car was unveiled and raced at Prescott in 1946. There will be over 50 Coopers taking part from the 500cc F3 cars to F2 & F1 cars. There will also be a clutch of Cooper Sports Racing cars including Bobtails and Monacos. The BOC have invited many of the Cooper drivers from the 1960s and will be announcing the take-up on their website (www.prescott-hillclimb.com) Admission will be £15.00 with accompanied children under 14 getting in free.

If you have a Cooper, there is still some places left, even if it's not finished or won't run see the thread on historic racing today.
