I wouldn't bother going altogether. Who knows what's going to happen there?
The only thing certain is that they will not refund your ticket even if no car took to the track for qualifying. |

Try the BRDC website, I'm sure there will be a sensible answer to your question there.

As far as I know you can only buy Sat and Sun tickets separately. If you want to go on the Friday (best day in my opinion?) you`ll have to buy a weekend ticket for £££££`s! Grrrrreat!!!

I seem to remember from last year you can get in at the gate on Friday for £35 (I think).

I would give the BRDC a quick call before making the journey, just to be on the safe side.

In my view it's absolutely disgusting that you can no longer choose to go on the Friday or Saturday alone. I was considering going this year to see qualifying and the first GP2 race (as junior series interest me more than F1, to be honest), but then I found that wasn't possible. After going to the Australian GP 2004 with a far cheaper weekend ticket, I wasn't going to be ripped off back home, especially with the spectator areas seeming so far from the action.
So I'll make do with F3/GT, BTCC and World Series by Renault meetings this year... cheap entry, fewer crowds, autograph sessions, pitlane walkabouts. Yes, they actually make an effort to make fans feel welcome. F1 can carry on with its head up its own backside for all I care. |

Ahh well, never mind. i think they should rethink the idea for tickets for each day. Could get a few more Ticket sales. Best thing for me to do next year is to probably buy a weekend ticket and go on the friday and on the sunday.
