And what a race it was, Ligiers Dallaras and Orecas all competitive in LMP2 throughout the race. Despite all the amateurs there was a lot of really good racing.

Finally, the most interesting championship are ELMS and IMSA. AsLMS looks promissing also.

Initial gallery from Portimao here. First time visit and found that for a modern circuit (albeit 10 years old) was remarkably friendly for non accredited snappers. Northern winds however made their presence known. Seriously considering the Algarve Classic next year. |
