Thanks guys. The fire tender team spent over two hours out in the rain and bitterly cold wind today (and an hour yesterday) Over 200 marshals were taken through practical fire training in the two days. Many, many fires were lit and succesfully extinguished and 200+ litres of fuel was burnt! I hope that every one learnt something or at least woke up the dormant fire fighting brain cells,
We, the fire tender team, enjoyed training everyone. Thanks to MSVR for the very welcome hot brew at the end of the training. Now get out there, fight fires and dont call for the fire tender as we'll be having a kip! |

It may have been wet and cold during the live fire training but its always a pleasure to work with the Oulton Park fire crew :-) and assist with giving fellow marshal's a chance to extinguish fires. I hope you all had a great weekend?
Could we let them burn for a little longer next year though, just so i can get my hands and ass warm? Lol. |

Thanks for keeping my waterproof leggings warm and dry in the Land Rover Fazza :-) Lol.
I hope the myth that we fall asleep in the trucks has been squashed? :P |
