Not sure. The news today illustrated the piece on the new Capri with archive footage of the 1968 Motor Show launch of....
...the Austin Maxi! |

I thought the new Capri was just going to be a swish name for a Focus coupe and convertible.

And in other news today...Brut have just started reselling aftershave again, Henry Cooper has contacted his agent. Prices of gold chains and medallions have risen sharply. Slade have re released their entire back catalog. And hairdressers are learning how to do perms SL |

We saw a couple of new Thunderbirds in Florida- they don't look bad at all (not a patch on a real one though!) |

Wow, a 2.8i Focus, or maybe a 3.0 special. Or am I just dreaming again.
Mind you with fwd and all that power you would be sitting at the lights with the front wheels twirling away..... SL |

Its still an anagram for Crapi!
I liked the old ones, but in the 90s they just went wrong... |

Apparently Ford think they're on to something (have you SEEN the Thunderbird??).
Not only are they resurrecting the Capri (hoorah!) They're resurrecting the Lotus Cortina too! (HOORAH!!) ghin - presumably, it being a Capri and all, you went over the hedge backwards and hence survived prettymuch unharmed? |
