TS breaks his drought at Dover, and once again the NASCAR 2000 winners list grows.
I'm hoping the Gibbs cars assert themselves in the next months, like last year when their race wins started at Dover and continued thru the summer. Bobby Labonte has had a fairly low-key year to date but has managed to stay on top of the standings. If he can rattle off some wins he'll have a very good chance for the title. As for Stewart many considered him to be in a slump, but remember it took him 3 more months to get a win his rookie year than it did this year. |

I think Gibbs has all but locked up the Championship with Bobby Labonte now that NASCAR has given the Pontiacs the rear downforce concessions that they were asking for. Tony should be strong too in the second half of the season.
