Colin McRae is alreayd out of the Spanish round when his Focus refused to start and could not take the stage.
I think if this does not turn around immediately for McRae and Ford, he will quit the team at the end of the year. |

I know Colin's having a rotten run of luck at present, but the championship does look wide open this year. He may have no pionts so far, but there's still a long way to go.

Well here it is: http://www.speedvision.com/pub/artic...d/010323b.html
But can we take him seriously this time around, how many times has he threatened to quit in the past? I think he should quit Ford, and should've done so a long time ago |

Ford has some painful reliablity problems at the moment. McRae needs to go to back to Subaru or maybe he can get on with Citron. Those guys look like they have a kick a** car this year. Wonder if they are going to get busted for the recon notes they were supposedly using?
And when is Mitsubitshi comming out with a NEW car for Makinen? Grider |

Everyone new Citroen were going to stroll through the asphalt rallies. They're just moaning about and looking for a way to ensure that only those in all the rallies win.
As for McRae, it's a question of where he'd go to. Subaru wouldn't have him back, and he isn't going to want to run at Mitsubishi alongside Tommy - that's like having Mike and Michael running together at Ferarri. Ford are the only other frontline team left, and he's getting paid by the skipload, so I don't think he'll leave until they kick him out for ruining too many cars. |

Yep. The question is, who would pay his salaries? McRae should not burn too many bridges behind. Man has the biggest salary in WRC with just one WC...

Its very disapointing the car is not working out for them, for me the sport will lose a bit part if Colin decides to give it up (big Mcrae fan yep) if the season takes a turn and the championship stars to go in his favour, he'll be back in and as strong as ever, here's hoping anyway
