What's with Planet LeMans?
What has happened with the site - they haven't changed since Feb. Odd that it's still up, gateway to 10/10 updates but not the site.

Marcel ten Caat is writing for Sportscar365 (maybe also DSC) these days, so his own site gets only updated very periodically.

Aye, I haven't been there for a long time also. I remember it used to have the entry list for every ALMS, LMS, AsLMS (the first one), ILMC round.

Yea I remember that too, it was the site to visit (apart from dsc) to get the latest entrylist news. It's a shame that Planetlemans seems to have been ignored but I can see why. Marcel must be quite a busy man |

I miss those, as they also worked as spotter guides. The compact style (only number, car/team, drivers and a recent pic of the car) was much better suited for watching the race with a computer. Not a dig at spotterguides.com but they're primarily designed for printed use aren't they.

I came here because that site got a little sparse! Been a great source of info and chatter.

There IS a lot of Marcel, but he's spread pretty thin these days and PLM seems to have been dropped.

There are plenty more sites now that are either Le Mans specifi =c (beermountain. club arnarge) or have sections related to Le Mans, like this site or pistonheads

Tim is correct. Running the site requires a lot of time, time that simply isn't available due to work with other projects (like Dailysportscar in recent years and Sportscar365 this season).
We've done some work on a new site in recent months, but that is all done offline...and is done when there's time available. We'll see...for now it's updated as often as it was. But if someone pays me to do an assignment I can't use his time for PLM... As for spotter guides, same story. That basically went out the window when I started making them for DSC and now SRO... |

Ah I remember those entrylists on PLM with the car graphics beside each entry. Good times
Thanks for all your hard work Marcel |

sportscar365 seemed to come out of nowhere and has attracted all the top journalistic talents in the endurance field. Not surprised that Marcel is there now.
