Quick Question
Hey Every One,
Everyone Heres A Quick Question Do You Think Ferrari Will Re New Bridgestone And Barrichello's Contracts When They Run Out In 2004 ? On Barrichello I Seriously Doubt That He Will Get A New Contract Because He Is Round 32 And Schumi Is Staying Till 2006 So I Am Sure Ferrari Will Want A New Young Driver Who Will Work Under Schumi Till He Retires And Then Take The Reins As Ferrari's No.1 As He Will Have The Experience .Then Again I Could Be Wrong !!! Personally I Hope That Bridgestone Get A New Contract And Keep Screwing Up So We Have A More Competitive Championship ,If Ferrari Move To Michelin The We Could Have Last Year All Over Again Because Even With Bad Tyres Michael Got A Podium Shows How Good The Car Is . Welcome RF! Not to be an a$$ but there is a key, 3rd from the bottom on the left side of the keyboard that you should depress.
I think RB is gone and they will keep the BS tires. After all Michelin will not give them the deal that BS has. |

RB will be gone but they will run BS. In a few years it could be possible they would be the only BS team.

I wouldn't be surprised if, should Goodyear return or another company enterm Ferari become their main team. Bridgestone appear to be struggling quite badly now, and will need a big advance to be competitive in the dry, and Michelin's rain tyres are improving.
I think Rubens is gone. It could be massa in taht car from 2005, as that gives them 2 years to se ehow good he is in racing situations, allow him to develop, and they can thn decide whether to bringina star name or bring someone is as a #2 |

Rubens is good as gone I think. I heard Ferrari like to have a South American driver as they sell a lot of cars down there. Is Massa really that good though? I think he is still somewhat unproven

He's definitely quick, was a little rash last season, though the last few races he was outqualifying and outracing Heidfeld more often than not. A fact which seems to have gone unnoticed....

Yeah but how come you hear so little news about him? I seem to here more stuff about Gene and Wurz...
Has he proven to be quick in his year of testing. Is he worthy of a drive at Ferrari? |

There was some discussion that Pirelli may be interested in an F1 comeback if the partner team was interesting enough...

Imagine if Mich, Bridge, Pirelli, Firestone and Dunlop were all in F1...
That would be quality! |

ofcourse it could get to the point where every engine supplier has its own tyre co.
ferrari/sauber bridgestone BMW,Renault,MacMerc-michellin Jordan/jaguar- goodyears minardi-whoeever isn't ashamed of them so on and so forth-so the battles will be more team based as if you are removing them from the equation |

Firestone is owned by Bridgestone.
Anyway, I think Rubinho may be in his last year at Ferrari in 2004; his lack of form this year suggests that he is not the man to shoulder the burden when Schumacher eventually leaves (though I'm still not convinced he'll go in 2006; it depends how well he's still doing), and Ferrari MUST turn their attention to finding Schuey's successor. I find Massa unconvincing; Fisichella is too old; Heidfeld would be good but would need to get out of his Mercedes contract; Raikkonen will stay at Woking; Montoya is a possibility but might prefer to stay with Williams; Ralf will have to prove a great deal before Ferrari start to be interested. I'd like to see Button get a shot alongside Schuey, but I suspect it might be Alonso... |
