LH for me. total control. love or hate him he managed the race and his envine brilliantly.
and it seemed he did it on his own. no radio instructions and no team orders. |

Lewis Hamilton. He got it done at the start - again. Much like what he did in Hungary, and just never seemed to be under pressure from anyone else from then.
Special mention to Riccardio - that was probably his best race of the season. |

Clear Hamilton this time. Dominant while Rosberg played his true second fiddle....

I thought it was a no-brainer for Hamilton. I do see why people have voted for Ricciardo though.

Ricciardo. Beating Max - the next mega talent - in the same car, is far more impressive than beating Nico in identical equipment, regardless of how it's framed.

Ricciardo, just.
LH was quick too but he probably was cruising the entire race, the couple of times someone started to close he'd suddenly speed up and go 1-2sec faster. Hard to give DOTR to someone who never came close to their ultimate pace. Rico was good but Verstappen wasn't far behind to be honest, and had used tyres for the last stint. If he didn't let Ricciardo past mid-race, he may have held him off for the entire race. No one else really stood out much. Both Force India's were quick, both McLarens were quick. Most teams their drivers were fairly evenly matched actually, so everyone did what is expected. |
