Not sure if NASCAR is a natural progression step for all top Supercars drivers. Yeah, there are some similarities between the cars but the racing itself is quite different - NASCAR is still predominantly about ovals. Think there are still guys who could just aim to win Supercars titles and Bathurst 1000 and what not. However, that's a worrying trend we have currently. McLaughlin left for IndyCar, SVG for NASCAR, Waters is clear he wants to go to America one day, so is Kostecki (although he did say he's happy in Supercars and wants to stay here for now). But the likes of Feeney or Payne, well I don't quite see them going to NASCAR. Not in the nearest future at least.
