Donington Park - phone lines down

I've just heard that the external phone lines to Donington Park have been taken out by a "technical fault" which appears to be someone driving through a hedge. All calls to their main number are being diverted to a mobile, so if you have to ring - please be patient!

I can confirm that a red VW Golf did its own bit of "phone engineering" on sunday morning. I went passed there about 10:00 & there was battered golf 20 yds inside the fence, a broken fence & loads & loads of spaghetti sticking out of the ground where once a green telecoms "junction box" had previously sat. The driver had obviously run out of his limited talent going south around the bend nearby the old main entrance. BT were there on sunday PM & all day yesterday & a new junction box was in place when I went by on my way to work this morning.

It was still on divert this morning when I informed the office that you could not purchase tickets for Sunday's HSCC meeting on their website, much to their surprise!
