Fred Scatley

Those of us who don't venture into the Historic Forum will have missed the passing of a true motorsport enthusiast and photographer. Fred Scatley was a recently joined member who sadly passed away last week. As a tribute to Fred, Tim D has set up a thread (Remembering Fred Scatley) showing all of Fred's photographs which he posted in his short time with us.

There are two reasons for my post here.

Firstly I'd like to encourage those of you who have an interest in the history of motorsport to take a look at the thread and secondly;

I'd like to thank Tim for his efforts in scouring the topics and coming up with the pictures that make up the thread.

I never met Fred so I can only go by his words on the forum, but he sounded to me like a great bloke.
