Moose Trophy Entry Fee Slashed and will be Televised

The third running of the Moose Trophy will be held 17th Sept 05 on the Oulton Park Island Circuit [hopefully to become International] Previous winners were Stuart Gough at Anglesey 2003 and Steve Roberts at Oulton in 2004.

It is a stand alone round of the King of Kents Championship. There won't be rounds of the NW FF1600 championship that day

{ The 30th July and 20th August NW FF1600 rounds are definitely on the International circuit }

After negotiations with BRSCC, the entry fee has been slashed from £285 to £195 and track time increased from 2 heats and a Final [possibility some drivers would only get one race]
to two qualifying sessions and a full grid qualification race with a full grid main race. There will be a consolation / invitation race for any non qualifiers to the main race and any other drivers wanting a third outing.

Thanks to Neil McArthur and Opal Telecom, the racing will be televised.

And you'll probably blow us all into the weeds.

Still, you will be more than welcome and Moose used to love charging drivers [and his jaunts across the Irish Sea].

3 hours 7 minutes for a pit wall reply.

I thought about doing it earlier, but decided against to spare Jason's blushes

Diz, where can I get an entry form from for this meeting. I need as much Oulton track time as I can get my hands on.

Lee, the King of Kents entry pack is on the BRSCC website - although the entry fee for that (and the Festival, and perhaps the Carnival) is overstated.

Thanks chaps, I'll download it this evening and get myself on the entryy list. I believe it is on the international circuit....Is that right? and also that the race on 30th July is on the International circuit too. Can either of the Ian's please confirm. Any track time for me would be good.

Lee his name isn't Ian - as he rightly points out - but mine is.

From the 1st post on this thread
The third running of the Moose Trophy will be held 17th Sept 05 on the Oulton Park Island Circuit [hopefully to become International] Previous winners were Stuart Gough at Anglesey 2003 and Steve Roberts at Oulton in 2004.

It is a stand alone round of the King of Kents Championship. There won't be rounds of the NW FF1600 championship that day

{ The 30th July and 20th August NW FF1600 rounds are definitely on the International circuit }

So 2 out of 3 definitely International and the other one Island for now, but hopefully may change.

Get your testing booked early is my advice.

Chris, I know your name.......And I'll be picking the car up on Sunday by hook or by crook. Steve is up foor it as well. Are we going for a pint again?.....Anyway with the preparations for the new arrival, how have you got time to post on here? Your missus is letting you away with murder ALREADY!

Thanks for the info Mr. Smith, who do I book testing with. Better still I think I need a list of contacts and numbers for sorting this lot out, can you PM me with them. I've already tried to contact Tom Dooley who the BRSCC have informed is the local liason regarding the championship but all I got was an answer phone 3 days ago....Argh!!

Lee, Steve Burns co-ordinates the BRSCC Formula Ford Championship and diz is the regional representative. All the information can be found on the championship on the BRSCC website; there is a link from our site. Testing can be booked via www.motorsportvision.co.uk.
