I don't really care who wins..that is not really the point, is it?
I want good quips and quotes, a bit of verbal wrestling. If the racing is good then all the better!! |

You don't think it matters to the guys out there.
This is all about who still has it or not. Publicly, they'll be saying it's a bit of fun, but these guys are racing drivers. They are only doing it because they want to win. If they don't win, they then have the fall back of "Oh well, it was only a bit of fun". You have to choose a favourite? That's what the sports about. |

It has to be Nige for the win - lets face it if he does there will be a bigger crowd at a british round than there will be at the GP - then again - better calibre of drivers on the masters grid than on a current GP grid (No disrespect meant but these guys really are stars)

I'd agree with you on that one.
It's like in the wet. You had to balance a car on the throttle. Now a new car, you just floor the throttle and let the car do the rest. No skill in that. What is the distance of the race for the Masters???? |

I'd like to see Mansell or Warwick win - wouldn't it be great to see them (along with the other GP Masters) at Brands next year?

It's a sure thing that they'll be a British round.
Revenue from Mansellmania crowd would be too much to ignore...... |

Don't need to get a grip.
The driving of a race car is still a fine art. Add to that the fact you need big b***s to go at those speeds, but anyone can hammer an accelerator pedal and let the car do the rest. Try a Formula Ford out to see what I mean about caressing the pedals...................... |

Personally im thinking Mansell will take the win, he did a good job at the last Silverstone test and im sure he can still deliver when he needs to.

And that's after only one free practice session out of three, so there's plenty more to come.

Impressive, especially considering how Mansell is recovering from Flu at the moment. Davec, where did you see these results?

Pretty close, all told?
Now all we need is Prost, Scheckter, Lauda, Piquet, Rosberg (anyone else i've missed) to top it off!! |

Warwick and Fittipaldi are looking pretty racy. It seems that 96 shunt did nothing to hold Emmo back.
