GTR 2 Multiplayer Series – FIA GT 2001 Championship

Hello all,


I wanted to tell you about a new multiplayer series that is starting on the one and true platform for classic GT racing: GTR 2!



For the series we will be using the FIA GT 2001 Mod. The cars are not balanced so the Prodrive Ferrari 550 will be faster than the Lamborghini Diablo GT. But we're racing just for fun so it doesn't matter!



We race on Sunday evenings. We have an enthusiastic group of about 6–10 people that join the races, but we hope to attract more fans of GT/sportscar racing to drive with us!




The first official race (test race in Monza 2003) will be held on January 13, 2019. However, there will be a sprint race today at Valencia GP track! The first championship round is on January 20.




Basic series info:

Qualification starts: 20:00 GMT / 3:00 p.m. EST

Qualification length: 10 minutes
Race length: 70 minutes

Hey all,


small update: two weeks ago we finished the FIA GT 2001 series. However, from tomorrow onwards we are starting a new championship with GTR 2: American Le Mans Series 2000!



Our race times have stayed the same: we race on Sunday evenings, qualifying starting at 20:00 GMT / 3:00 p.m. EST.

As before, the cars are not balanced so the BMW V12 LMR will be faster than the (still rather excellent) Ascari A410.

The first championship round will be held on April 7, 2019. After that, the championship takes us weekly to places like Silverstone, Mosport, Laguna Seca and Adelaide.

In the meantime, this league has been moving forward. After FIA GT 2001, ALMS 2000 and FIA GT 1998 series, we are now continuing with a new series!


Today, the opening round of the Group C 1990 series will take place. Races are still on Sunday evenings, qualifying starting at 20:00 GMT / 3:00 p.m. EST.
