Robin a very brave young man
To all people who post on this site. Having just got back from Ellsmere Port and the Vauxhall plant after seeing the young lad Robin who is dying of cancer. Ithought i would say how things went. People from all over the country turned up with varying machinary, Noble Lotus MG Skoda. It was a fitting send off for a very brave young man. On behalf of John Bachelor and all of TEAM VARTA I was there with the team Varta shopping trolly the Skoda Fabia and was able to present Robin with a signed hat from the drivers and a framed picture from brands Hatch of the cars of Jim Edwards and Jay Wheels ceculating Brands HATCH. R.I.P ROBIN.

Must be horrible knowing you going to die of something and nothing can be done. Very Sad, but good of the team.
Rest In Peace |

For information £400 was raised in the Collection.
Vauxhall reckon that approx 5-600 made it, looking at the car park coverage. The family will decide what charity it goes to and it will be posted on robins forum. Vauxhall had their official photographer present. He will be compiling his photos onto a CD for Robin, and for his family to keep when he passes on. Robins Forum will be kept open so that people can post links to their videos and pictures of the day. The forum is here. it is also hoped that annual memorial "Quiet" cruises (Playing by "Robin's rules") can be held in his memory with money raised going to cancer charities, with a bit more advanced planning helping out too. It is hoped that they can be in approved locations, in different parts of the country, so if Cheshire was too far, you can participate a little more locally when it is near you.
