If Ralf Fan isn't running the competition this year, and if nobody has any objections, I'll happily take over for 2009. I ran a Fantasy F1 league on a different website a number of years ago, and I still have all the "paperwork" to go along with it (as well as a pretty complex spreadsheet to help me count the points up ).

Guys I will get this started this weekend which will give you two weeks to enter. Any rule changes or suggestions will be appreciated. You have about two days.

I have a rule change for you: give me more points.

AsI hinted at the end of last years thread the weighting of points to the chassis is too heavy.
A little more balance would help. Another thing is the deduction of points for drivers who finish lower than they started.... negative points for a race is quite discouraging. It doesn't happen in the real world, although a penalty for a DQ might be an idea. |

I think I am going to stick with the penalty for finishing lower than the driver started, simply because I need a way for people who pick drivers in lower teams to be able to be competitive. If you have any suggestions on how you'd achieve this without giving negative points then I am willing to listen.
As for chassis points I want to overhaul the points system for chassis but as yet haven't figured out how. Again suggestions are welcome. I will post the entry stuff on Sunday probably |

I'm afraid if I enter this competition there will be no chance for the others to win it, so I'll pass...
