I was going to play a guessing game...
about who would skip Knockhill as it always happens, but btcc.net has beaten me to the first withdrawal. http://www.btcc.net/html/generalnews_detail.php?id=2089
Shame really, as they're the closest team to the track! Last edited by Craner Curves; 24 Aug 2010 at 20:45. |

Yep, I would suspect that it would be the smaller teams who wouldn't be able to attend.
I wouldn't be surprised if AMD with their Golf didn't turn up for example. |

Not really in any way bothered, half the time that team brings out the safety car when they bin it and ruin the racing anyway.

Without teams like this we would have a reduced grid. Whilst I appreciate that they are hardly the best team, they work on a small budget and help fill our grids. I for one appreciate this.

I understand there will be a second 888 Vectra at Knockhill for a former Renault Clio pilot.

Glew's drive in the SEAT was a one-off, unless he can find more pennies before the end of the year.

Martin Johnson's logic is a bit flawed. “I could go to Knockhill and pick up a few points, or I could go there and end up with damage or blow an engine and that could be the end of our season. I’d love to be racing at Knockhill but by missing it I know, looking at the balance sheet right now, I will be doing Donington and Brands.” By that token, he could demolish the car at Donington and miss Brands anyway. I'm disappointed that the Scottish fans always get shortchanged these days. Ok they're backmarkers, but they still need to be there. Last edited by Craner Curves; 1 Sep 2010 at 06:20. |

Jeff Smith will be there in an 888 Vectra alongside James Nash.
